《中國歇後語》 Xiehouyu are often used in daily conversations, movies and literature to convey thoughts and opinions. However, even non-native speakers who have studied Chinese for years are rarely familiar with xiehouyu which are not taught in textbooks. This title is : ‧developed to introduce Xiehouyu to the non-native speaker who has at least two years of Chinese language training ‧illustrated by graphics to enhance the effectiveness of the presentation ‧presented in simplified and traditional Chinese characters followed by pinyin ‧complete with literal translations and explanations ‧recorded by native speakers in MP3 format
