Kate works from her studio in Norfolk, UK where she paints, dyes, prints, draws on and cuts up paper to create collage illustrations. Every image starts with drawing so Kate can work out the shape and personality of the character or setting she is illustrating. Kate's debut publication, One Fox has been shortlisted for and won numerous awards including an Ezra Jack Keats Honor and shortlisted for the Klaus Flugge and Waterstones Children's Book Prize.
