Zahariadis (political science, U. of Alabama at Birmingham) applies the multiple streams theory developed by Kingdon (for examining the US federal government) to parliamentary government policy making. The three streams of problems, policies, and politics are seen to have their own rules and dynamics. The creation of domestic and foreign policy in the UK, France, Germany, and Greece is studied and implicitly compared to the United States. Nikolaos Zahariadis is professor and director of the political science program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Ron B.
