Wayfinding is a term for the ways in which visitors and staff find their way from point to point in a building or facility. The field encompasses signage, architectural elements, tactile elements, environmental graphics, and technology such as touch-screen computers. This book will help executive and department-level managers to plan, develop, and implement new or improved wayfinding programs in healthcare facilities.
