Develops critical thinking skills across the curriculum. Presents an historically accurate account of the development of research methods in psychology, as well as acknowledging the pitfalls of the research process. Also emphasizes the similarities and differences between psychology and other sciences. Designed for undergraduate use as a supplemental text in research methods, statistics, or introduction to psychology courses taught out of either psychology or education departments. This book is useful in a first statistics course as it does not require a statistics background.
